Basketball’s most polarizing family touched down in Prienai yesterday after having made the 20 hour and 6,000 mile journey to the small Lithuanian city. The entirety of this saga has been nothing short of surreal, as a welcoming party of what felt like all 9,867 citizens greeted the founder of basketball, with eager curiosity for what is in store for the Baltic League’s newest additons.

It is expected that LaMelo and LiAngelo will each make their professional debuts for Vytautus Prienai-Birštonas on January 9th as the team hosts Tsomki-Minsk. Despite initial concerns regarding playing time and development abroad, BC Prenai’s Head Coach, Virginijus Šeškus, has assured the Ball’s of receiving plenty of burn early on and has drawn comparisons in approach to that of LaVar’s due to his bold and often unorthodox antics on the sidelines. Even before their first tip off, it’s been reported that the Ball Brothers jerseys have been posted on Amazon for sale at $99 each. Considering the team charges just 7 euros for admission, it’s pretty insane to see such a high price tag, but best believe you’ll see college kids dawning these at darties everywhere come spring time.
With less than a week to prepare, Gym, Grub and Sleep are all the Ball’s will need, as they wasted no time getting familiarized with their new surroundings.
